Wishtoyo's new Social Media Manager

Haku, relatives! Wishtoyo would like to introduce our new Social Media Manager, Alyssa (she/they). Alyssa's lineage is Native Andean from Peru, Chinese, and German. She was born in Santa Barbara, grew up in Carpinteria, and spent the last 16 years living in Los Angeles. Alyssa comes to us with a background in science, having worked as a criminalist for over 12 years. Her passion for social and environmental justice and growing her family lead her back home to the Central Coast. Getting involved with organizations that help others has helped hone her social media and communication skills. She considers herself to be a curious and passionate person and feels most fulfilled when she's in service to her community.

Her hobbies include surfing, diving, baking, making herbal medicine, creating art, chasing after her toddler, and laughing at her husband's jokes.

She is taking on the unique role of being Wishtoyo's representative voice online in these impactful social media spaces. Feel free to drop a comment and introduce yourself or say hi!
